Hello lovelies! Hope you're well!
I'm not going to beat about the bush with this one, otherwise it would probably take far too long to read.
Basically I've been collecting my project pan stuff and my empties for a stupidly long period of time. I'm talking months; consequently I've collected a whole bag full of empties which I'm now going to share with you lovely lot! So lucky, I know!
Here they are...
Soap and Glory Righteous Butter: Thick, creamy; moisturises well; not a fan of the scent - won't repurchase for a while
Soap and Glory Pulp Friction: Nice smell; multi-tasking (body wash + exfoliant) and lasts ages -would repurchase after I've used my backup's up.
Soap and Glory Glad Hair Day - smells amazing and cleans hair really well. But based on the price I would not repurchase. Nice as a treat though.
Soap and Glory Flake Away: Nice smell and texture but not abrasive enough (might have gone off) = repurchase depends on how I enjoy the tub I've yet to use.
Soap and Glory Clean on Me: Lasts forever; smells lovely and has a handy pump dispenser = would repurchase but I've got 10+ to work through so maybe in a few years time!
Soap and Glory Righteous Butter Lotion - love love love this. It has the perfect consistency and I love the smell. It's a milder version of the original I would say and I actually prefer it. Would highly recommend this one and they're on 3 for 2 at the moment too.
Soap and Glory Off Your Face wipes - not the most thorough of wipes and they do have a tendency to sting. Won't repurchase mainly as I've five more packs to go through.
Soap and Glory Thick and Fast Mascara - great volumising mascara; looks natural on but I am no longer wowed by the results. It's not the cheapest mascara out there and if I'm being completely honest I've changed my mind on this product and although I love the rest of the line, I would not recommend this. I believe there are other better products which cost less.
Body Shop Born Lippy lip balm: Smells amazing and keeps lips well hydrated - would repurchase but I've got a whole stash of them so not yet.
Pearl Drops Professional White Toothpaste: On the fence with this one. I can see a difference but I don't think it's good for teeth. And I would rather have teeth than bright white stumps.
L'Occitane Eye Balm sample - I really enjoyed using this. It has no distinguishable fragrance but my under eyes felt so soft and my concealer went on better after use so I would recommend and I will probably invest in the full size once I've used up my Clinique All About Eyes
Avene Gentle Gel Cleanser - this was just a sample size but I really enjoyed using it. It has a really lovely scent but I think it was too gentle for me to consider repurchasing. However if your skin is super sensitive I would recommend checking out the entire Avene range.
Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion - it lasts forever and really hydrates my skin so it's a staple in my collection already. I would recommend the Clinique range for a good regime but don't expect miracles as they really take their time to slowly improve skins condition.
Clinique Clarifying Lotion mini - another Clinique staple really. I have two large bottles as back up and I honestly don't think I'll ever be without a bottle just in case. It's my fall back for when my experiments have made a horrible mess of my skin.
Boots Essentials Cleansing Lotion - quite a runny cream but it did a good job of getting my make up off before cleansing. Best thing is how cheap it is so I would repurchase.
Boots Essentials Face Was - I really liked this. It has no fragrance, doesn't irritate my skin and makes my skin feel clean without being tight. It's a definite winner in the Essentials range and Boots deserve a pat on the back for it.
Body Shop Banana Conditioner: Amazing scent which lingers on hair and leaves hair soft = will definitely be repurchasing as there really is nothing like it.
Tesco Nail Polish Remover - does the job really quickly and is very kind to the purse. Would repurchase and definitely recommend.
Batiste Dry Shampoo in Tropical. This is my favourite of the entire Batiste range. It does the job really well, doesn't break the bank and it smells like holidays. If you've never tried it, I highly suggest you do so.
Hand Sanitizer - did the job; really cheap and larger bottle than is regularly available. Love it and if you have a Home Bargains and use products like this regularly I would stop in as you could save a fortune.
E.L.F Mineral Lipgloss - As you can tell from the picture this one isn't an empty as such but it is nonetheless going into the bin.... I've had it a little while I'll admit but my others are fine; this one however smells like feet... yuck. They are generally speaking lovely glosses and this colour is a really pretty, shimmery pink but it has gone bad so needs to go. I do have a back up and will be using it up hopefully before it goes bad too.
George Nail Polish in Cupcake: Lovely formula and colour but it went gloopy far too quickly - won't repurchase at all.
Garnier Firming Lotion: Too thin, doesn't visibly firm and I'm sick of the citrus scent = would absolutely not repurchase and wouldn't recommend. And I've still got one bottle to suffer through.
Next Diamonds Shower Gel: Sparkly; foams well and smells lovely = nice but I probably wouldn't repurchase as there are nicer/ cheaper shower gels out there.
So there you have it.. my mass of empties. I think this will be my last post regarding my project pan as it ends on Thursday. Being completely honest, it's been a good thing as I've given my stash more love than I previously had. But that being said, I've really missed treating myself to the occasional product or two without feeling guilty. It's not been too bad because I've found things I'd forgotten I had and my parents have treated me on occasion but still I am so glad to be done.
Are any of you in the midst of a project pan or have similarly epic empties posts? I would love to hear from you and see your posts.
Kirstie
