Marc Jacobs Dot

Morning lovelies, hope you're all well.

I'm going to come clean and just say that this post is just fuelling a really bad addiction of mine. I have an obsession with fragrance and have a collection which I reckon might outlive me. However, it's nice to know that I'll never smell bad.

Dot is a fragrance which I probably would have bought regardless of the smell (I own all the Marc Jacobs perfumes so I sort of collect them, so needed this one --- obviously). Luckily it smells divine.

The scent however, isn't as amazing as the bottle in which it is housed.  I mean look at this....

It's so pretty and intricate. On bottle design alone this perfume gets a 10/10. It's more of an ornament in my eyes.

Now back to the scent, Basenotes claims it has base notes of Vanilla, Musk and Driftwood; middle notes of Jasmine, Orange Blossom and Coconut water and top notes of Red Berries, Dragon fruit and Honeysuckle.

This doesn't really replicate in my mind. If I had to describe it I'd say it's a subtle fruity fragrance which reminds me of the beach, summertime and Starbucks refresher drinks. It's lovely and refreshing and will be perfect for the warmer months.

Just a point to note, my mum thinks it's very similar to the Issey Miyake womens scent which I can definitely see, although this is a tad fruitier.
It's lovely.

If you want to check this one out, I'd highly recommend it. I bought mine at Boots due to a promotion, but you can buy it in all major perfume stores now.

Just out of sheer curiosity I'd love to know the size of all your perfume collections. How many is too many do we think?
