2012 Favourites - Make-up, Fragrance & Skin Edition

Morningg world! I hope everyone's well.

Today I thought I'd share with you my top products of 2012. It's been a year of a lot of new things for me. I finally ventured into the world of blushers, highlighters and hot cloth cleansers so I've put a lot of products to the test.

Here's what made the cut.

1. E.L.F Studio Blush in Peachy Keen - I love this. It's perfect for both summer and winter on my skin tone. I just vary the amount of product and it's perfect.

2. E.L.F Eyebrow Kit in Ash - A really cheap kit which works so well. It lasts a really long time too.

3. Maybelline Superstay foundation in Light Beige - Holy grail foundation of the year. It matches my skin perfectly and really does last well on the skin.

4. M.A.C MSF  in Soft and Gentle -  The perfect highlighter. It gives my skin that lit within glow and is a lifesaver on dull skin days.

5. Benefit Porefessional primer - The best primer ever. It fills in my large pores and gives my skin a truly flawless finish.

6. Real Techniques buffing brush - This is pretty much the best thing to apply liquid foundation with for me. None of my other face brushes have had a look in since I purchased this.

7. Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer - I found this difficult to get to grips with at first. I find that if I mix this with a bit of Benefit High Beam I get the perfect under eye concealer. The fact that it lasts ages also doesn't hurt.

8. Clinique All About Eyes - The best eye cream on the planet. My under eyes are hydrated and brighter and I wouldn't be without it.

9. Johnson's Daily Essentials Day Cream for dry skin - I think this is my best find of the year. I picked it up in a flaky skin situation and I've never looked back. The most amazing thing is that it keeps my oiliness at bay.

10. No 7 Beautiful Skin Hot Cloth Cleanser - Well it was going to be on here somewhere. It smells lovely and removes make-up like no other. I wouldn't be surprised if this is still a favourite at the end of 2013.

11. Boots Botanics Eye Make-up Remover - I know the blogosphere mourned the loss of the old formula BUT I like this formula more. It melts away eye make-up and doesn't irritate at all. The best on the market by far.

12. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Lovesick - Perfectly pigmented. My lips are hydrated and are the most amazing fuchsia shade when I use this. The price also makes them pretty irresistible too.

12. M.A.C Lipstick in Fanfare - This peachy pink shade has been my go to lippie for the latter half of the year. It's natural but noticeable and it's the first shade my other half has loved. This one won't ever be out of my favourites.

13. Benefit Bad Gal Mascara - I know They're Real has been a big hit this year, but Bad Gal remains a firm favourite of mine. It lengthens and volumises without looking clumpy.

14. Clinique Superbalm Moisturising Gloss in Grapefruit - I credit this with saving my horrendously cracked and sore lips. They were healthy and soft within a matter of days. It's been a real lifesaver this year.

15. Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette - What can I say about this one? It just has everything a girl needs eyeshadow wise. I won't ever be without one of these.

16. Thierry Mugler Alien & Womanity - I can't tell you how much I love these. They're so unique and they last so well on my skin that it wouldn't be right if these didn't make the list. I know they aren't everyone's cup of tea but for me I adore these scents.

What  made your list this year?

  2. Haha you totally should! The only problem I have with the Revlon balm stain in this shade is that it seems to fade really unevenly... Do you ever get that?

Can't believe it either, my first ever comment after a year!
