Body Shop and Yankee Candle Sales Haul

by - 11:18:00

Hello lovelies, hope you're all well!

As some of you may know I'm currently in the midst of exams. I had one yesterday morning and took the afternoon off revision to indulge in some retail therapy.

Sadly, it wasn't as fruitful as I thought it was going to be but I managed to pick up two Yankee Candles I've been lusting after for ages. The best thing of all was that they were 50% off.

I picked up the Black Cherry and the Sicilian Lemon medium jar candles for only £8.49 each. Bargain.

For those of you who might not have tried Yankee Candles I would highly recommend them. They smell so true to the actual 'flavour' and they really throw the scent so a number of rooms can smell great from one candle. With regards to burn time, these can burn for up to 90 hours whilst still smelling great which means they represent great value for money.

Although my actual trip to the shops was disappointing, I came home to my Body Shop order which more than made up for my disappointing High Street experience.

I'd put off ordering from their sale for a while purely because I'm trying to use up what I own. But when a 40% off code which included sale items landed in my inbox I couldn't resist. So without further ado here's what I picked up...

I picked up five of their cult body butters in the scents Wild Cherry; Raspberry, Papaya, Passion Fruit and Vineyard Peach (all 200ml) . I managed to get these for a mere £3.90 each as opposed to the usual £13 price tag which is why I couldn't resist picking a few to try out. Full reviews of all of these will undoubtedly follow.

Next I picked up the Vineyard Peach shower gel to go with the body butter. This cost £1.20 and smells lovely. The deodorant was added to my basket on a bit of a whim. It was 75p and I'm almost out of deodorant so it made sense at the time.

This is by far the best thing I bought in my opinion. This gift set was originally priced at £25 but I managed to bag one for £9... All products are full size apart from the body butter which is a travel size.

This Beautifying Oil is the main reason I bought this. It usually costs £9 on its own so it made sense to get the gift set with all the extra bits. This oil is multi-purpose so can be used on the face, hair and body. I plan on using it as a face oil because my skin is currently going through a dry, flakey patch so needs tonnes of moisture.

So that's my January sales haul as small as it might be. It did the job of cheering me up and I'm really pleased with my purchases.

The Body Shop sale is still on so I'd head over to their website and sign up to their newsletter for some amazing codes and discounts and you too could bag some of your favourites for a bargain.

    1. They're gorgeous aren't they! Just a shame they're usually so expensive! I'm going to have to look into those car fresheners now! Think my other half's car could use some of those!
