Empties #7

Hello lovelies,

Another day, another empties post. Today I've got the results of my project pan so far to share with you. I'm not going to lie, going beauty cold turkey is not fun. I have a wish list as long as my arm but I am also very aware that I have a massive collection which needs to go bye bye.

I was just curious so made an inventory of all the beauty related items I own and the results were pretty shocking to be honest. I'm quite sure I could make over a whole army with the supplies I have which is just ridiculous. After this little exercise I'm definitely sticking with this project pan until I see a significant reduction.

So into's out of the way.. here's what going into the bin now...

1. Tresemme Split Remedy Shampoo - I enjoyed the smell of this shampoo and it left my hair feeling clean. Does it heal split ends? I'm not so sure. I probably would repurchase however as I did enjoy it while it lasted.

2. Garnier Body Tonic Firming Lotion - The only thing I liked about this was how quickly it absorbed into the skin. It wasn't good at hydrating my skin; didn't make it any firmer and the smell wasn't to my taste. I can firmly say I won't be repurchasing this any time soon.

3. Pantene Protect and Smooth shampoo for Coloured Hair - I absolutely loved this shampoo. It smells absolutely divine and kept my colour vibrant throughout. A massive thumbs up for this and I will repurchase once I'm done with all my shampoo's.

4. Alberto Balsam Sun Kissed Raspberry Conditioner - I really rate this product. I know people don't expect much for £1 but this makes my hair soft, shiny and smelling yummy so I'll be keeping this as a staple for definite.

5. Soap and Glory Calm One Calm All x 2- It's an indulgent, relaxing bubble bath but again it wasn't anything life changing so I probably won't be adding this to the repurchase list. I believe you can get something nicer for less.

6. Soap and Glory Clean On Me - This is actually a product which I've began to like again. It's creamy, lathers well and I enjoy the scent too. It also doesn't hurt that it lasts ages. I won't be repurchasing for a while however as I have a whole stash of Soap and Glory shower gels to get through.

7. Soap and Glory Smoothie Star - I've discussed this not long ago. I don't like the scent but I love the formula so I wouldn't repurchase this but maybe another lotion from the Soap and Glory line.

8. Nivea Invisible Black and White Deodorant - This I will absolutely not be purchasing again. It did absolutely nothing for me and smelt horrendous. Never again, I'll stick to Right Guard and Garnier.

9. Soap and Glory Hand Food - I love this hand cream. It smells lovely and absorbs so quickly which is ideal as I don't like having sticky hands. A real treat for ravaged hands and I will absolutely repurchase.

10. Wild Berry Shave Gel - I really rate this gel. I get it from Home Bargains for under £1 and it does the job and smells amazing. I will be repurchasing.

11 & 12. Body Shop Banana Shampoo and Conditioner - Where do I begin? I love, love, love these and they will hopefully return to my shower soon. They smell amazing and they work a treat on my hair. Couldn't love a shampoo and conditioner combo more.

13 & 14. Dentyl Mouthwash - Smooth Mint - I'm not really that fussy when it comes to mouthwash but if I had to pick a favourite it would be this brand. I really love seeing it come out clear which means I brushed my teeth well. It's sad but I love it.

15. E.L.F Flawless Finish Foundation - This isn't technically an empty but it's going in the bin nevertheless. It's just such an awful formula. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone anymore nor would I repurchase it.

16. Johnson's Daily Essentials Moisturiser for Dry Skin - I've spoke about this before and I still love it just as much now. It's cheap as chips and does a great job of keeping skin hydrated. I'd recommend and repurchase this one for definite.

17. Wisdom Dental Floss - I'm not particularly loyal when it comes to floss. This one was nice and I may repurchase it if I see it again.

18. Primark Cinnamon and Clove Candle - This was nice while it lasted. It had a great scent throw and I love the christmassy packaging too.

19. Natural Collection Pressed Powder - This is a great budget buy and I did enjoy using it, however I love Rimmel's Stay Matte more so I won't be grabbing this again.

20. Clinique 7 Day Scrub - This really didn't do a lot for me I'll be honest. The grains are far and few between and it had a funny smell. I think I'll be sticking with the St Ives.

21. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion - I've fallen back in love with this. It hydrates nicely and sinks in quickly making it an ideal base for make-up. Love this. My only bug bear is that it has no SPF.

22. E.L.F Mineral Infused Mascara - I'm a big fan of this and have a back up... BUT.. although it is good I don't think I'll be going back to it once I'm all out. There are definitely better mascara's out there. But it is good when you're on a budget.

23. Soap and Glory Thick and Fast Mascara - Again I'm a big fan of this and I love how it makes my lashes look. However I do find that this one smudges on my eyelids as the day goes on so in that respect it isn't the best. I have multiple back-ups so I will continue to enjoy this though.

24 & 25. Soap and Glory Face Soap and Clarity - I've been really enjoying this at the moment. I have a good amount of tubes knocking around so I'm working my way through them. It makes my skin 'glow' somehow so I love it.

26. Hand Food - as at No 9.

27. Boots Vitamin E Moisture Lotion - I used this on my neck as it's much cheaper than any of my face creams and as an added bonus it contains SPF 15 which I think is amazing. I will repurchase this for definite.

28. Ted Baker Body Spray - I really enjoyed this but I'm sad that this scent is no longer around so as much as I'd like to, I can't repurchase it.

29. Oral B 3D White Toothpaste - I am fiercely loyal to this toothpaste and will continue to be. It does an amazing job of whitening my teeth and I just love it.

30. Lush The Comforter Bubble Bar - This is my favourite thing from lush ever. It creates mountains of bubbles and smells exactly like Ribena. What's not to like? It's safe to say I will be repurchasing one of these in the near future.

31. Body Shop Born Lippy Raspberry Lip Balm - I've got a tonne of these in my stash and I'm slowly working through them. This is my favourite purely because of the scent - it's gorgeous. The balm itself keeps my lips soft and supple so I will continue to use and enjoy these.

32. Clinique Long Last Glosswear in Air Kiss - This wasn't long lasting at all and required numerous touch ups in a short space of time. I wasn't a fan of the pale pink either as it really dulled my natural lip colour. The only thing I liked about this was that it had an SPF of 15. Wouldn't buy a full size for sure.

33. Garnier Eye Roll On - I hate this. It made under my eyes sting like crazy and go red so I'm staying away from this. Not a good product for me at all. I'll stick to Clinique's All About Eyes.

34. Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief Mouthwash - This is only a sample size but I did like it. It wasn't as enjoyable as the Dentyl but it did the job. I'm not sure this is out yet though.

35 & 36. YSL Youth Liberator Serum Samples - I enjoyed what little of this product I got out of these samples. I didn't see a difference as I expect that would take a while, but it certainly wasn't unpleasant. If it weren't for the price I would probably buy the full size.

Whew...

So that guys is everything..
