February Favourites

Morning one and all.

This is my first favourites post perhaps ever... shocking I know. I just find that I don't have a number of products that I wouldn't have survived the month without. Well times have changed..

I'm going to start with my absolute must have of the month...Jimmy Choo's latest perfume launch - Flash. It's got my name written all over it and according to my other half it's my best perfume pick to date. A real winner.

Next up is the No7 Heavenly Hydration Moisture Mask. My skin's been really dry lately and this has completely turned my skins condition around. It smells and feels divine and I love it.

Keeping up with the theme of hydration, I've been loving E.L.F's Mineral Infused Face Primer. I'd previously been using Benefit's Porefessional and while it's good for mattifying, it was also drying my skin out a little. The E.L.F primer provides the smoothest canvas for base without drying my skin out.

Moving onto base it has to be the Maybelline Fit Me foundation. I'm going to declare this foundation my holy grail I love it that much. It's the perfect coverage for my skin; lasts well and is dewy without being overly shiny. Love this.

As I mentioned previously, my skins been a tad on the dry side so I've been moisturising it really well. My forehead hasn't like this so much so I've had a few blemishes. The E.L.F Zit Zapper came to my rescue and my forehead is now blemish free without being dry. You can really feel it working too which I like. I'd never be without this again and have even got a back up.

I reviewed the Soap and Glory Smoothie Star previously and said I didn't like the smell. This is still very true but I really can't fault the formula and that's why it's in my favourites. At the moment I'm busy so I don't have time to wait around for my moisturiser to sink in. This lotion is gone within seconds, hydrates my skin well and means I can get on with my day. Love it. Now I just wish Soap and Glory would do this formula with a different scent...

Another item I reviewed recently is the Sleek Face Form Kit in light. I've been using this all month and can't find any serious faults with it. My complexion looks a lot healthier when I've applied this and I've had a lot of good comments too. Another product which quite possibly is holy grail material. This month it is but we shall see.

Last but not least is Benefit's They're Real. What can I say... I love this. It lasts all day with no smudging or flaking, it holds a curl well and makes my lashes look like falsies all in one fell swoop. Cannot say enough good things about it. Once I've used up my mascara stash I've a feeling this will be my regular, go to mascara.

So these are my top picks for the month... What are yours?

  2. It's so good but I do think the price tag is a bit off putting.. but they say you get what you pay for! Discount wise, most Thursdays Benefit do their Thursday Thrill promo which is a 15% code to use site wide which helps ease the pain a little!
