Face In Five: Daytime Edition

Good afternoon lovelies, hope you're all well!

Today I've got a new kind of post for you guys. If you've read my blog before you'll know that I have very little time and I'm always rushing someone. In keeping with this, I've had to streamline my make-up routine significantly and I've managed to get both my day and night time looks down to five products.

Today I'm going to be covering my daytime look.

1. For a flawless, fuss-free base I opt for Dr Jart's Regenerating Beauty Balm. This gives me the coverage I need combined with all the skincare benefits I could ever want. It also doesn't hurt that perfect application doesn't require a brush. I could bleat on about this product for ages because it really is fantastic. It's a tad on the pricey side but Boots always have offers on so I don't think I'll ever end up paying full price.

2. To keep shine at bay I rely on the trusted Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. This is raved about by every man and his dog so I feel I need to add very little. It does the job, doesn't look powdery at all and is an absolute bargain. Love it.

3. To get peachy looking cheeks I rely on the Dainty Doll Cream Blush in Orange County Girl. The colour is very much akin to Sleeks Rose Gold but I like that the cream formula sheers out to make it more subtle as I find Rose Gold too much for my pale complexion. This cream blush also works well as a lip balm so it's a total space saver in my bag.

4. My lashes need a lot of help so to get them looking long and lush I'm currently loving Maybelline's the Rocket Waterproof mascara. The waterproof formula means it's really durable against anything life can throw at you. It doesn't smudge and doesn't flake meaning re-application is never necessary. What's not to love?

5. The last product in my arsenal is the No 7 BB lips which has been in my collection for a good few weeks now. I've never really been one for lipgloss but I love these. They're not sticky; have SPF and keep my lips in tip top condition all day long. This pinky shade is a particular fave as I think it enhances the natural colour of my lips and makes them look fuller.

So there you have it, my five products for a flawless face. I like how quick my make-up routine now is and I doubt I'll be returning to a 20-minute application for a while.

Now I put this to you guys... What's the quickest time you've ever done your make-up in and how few products can you use?
