Face In Five: Night Time Edition
Hey guys, hope you're all well!
Yesterday I brought you my daytime look, now I'm going to show you my night time make-up.
1. Of an evening I generally prefer a bit more coverage and at the moment I've been reaching for Soap and Glory's show good face a lot. It combines a primer with a foundation so is the ultimate in fuss-free foundation. It matches my skin perfectly and the illuminating properties gives my skin a subtle glow. Perfect for an evening.
2. My favourite Rimmel Stay Matte powder is making another appearance. You know what they say, if it ain't broke don't fix it. It's a great product and I will always recommend it.
3. Next up is the Sleek Face Form in Light. This may be cheating as it's technically 3 products but I'm counting it as one because they all come in the same packaging. I use a small amount of bronzer to lightly contour my face; swirl some blush onto the apples of my cheeks and apply some highlighter to the tops of my cheeks and the bridge of my nose. This process dresses up my look a little and makes the make-up look more night time appropriate.
4. No surprises with regards to mascara. It had to be Maybellines the Rocket. The look it provides is perfect for the more glammed up look too. It gives enough drama without being clumpy or spidery and will last all night too. Perfect.
5. For the lips I've been reaching for Maybellines Colour Sensational Vivids lipstick in Shocking Coral. If applied out of the bullet this one is too bright for me, but a few layers with a lip brush looks amazing. It's still bright but it's not as in your face and complements the rest of the make-up rather than being over powering.
So there's my final Face in Five edition. I love both looks and how they minimise the time necessary to get me from drab to fab. I can see these products making their way into my suitcase come September for sure.
Like yesterday, let me know you're quick make-over routines and the products you rely on...
