May Favourites

Hey guys, hope you are all well and are making the most of the summer so far!

Today I've got another favourites post for you! After doing my last one I realised that there are products that I gravitate to over the course of the month so I now think they will be a regular feature on my blog.

So without further ado, here they are!

1. Maybelline The Rocket - Waterproof (here) £7.99. I have been absolutely loving this mascara this month. It volumises, lengthens and last all day without a single smudge or flake. It's going to be a staple of mine for the summer months for sure. It also doesn't hurt that it's cheap as chips.

2. Maybelline The Eraser Concealer - Light (here) £7.99 - This has returned to UK shores again and I'm so pleased it's back (hopefully for good). It provides great coverage but feels so lightweight on the eye area. I've been on the hunt for a better under eye concealer so this came into my life at the best time. It's wonderful and I would highly recommend giving it a whirl.

3. Carmex Strawberry Lip Balm (here) £2.69 - I tried the Cherry version a while back and wasn't a fan. However I'm glad I gave Carmex another chance as this product has transformed the condition of my lips in a matter of days. It smells delicious and it works a treat at repairing dry, chapped lips. It's been my go to all month and I see no sign of this changing in the near future.

4. Indeed Labs Eysilix - Instant Eye Rescue (here) £24.99. I'll be the first to admit I was sceptical about this one. I'd never used Indeed Labs products before and it costs more than my favourite Clinique eye cream, however this 10 peptide gem has blown me away. My dark circles have been banished and my fine lines are becoming less and less noticeable as the days pass. It's a total winner in my eyes. My only bug bear with this product is the fact that it doesn't quite sink in. It leaves a thin film of product on top of the skin which can make applying concealer particularly difficult; not impossible though. Because of this it's not quite holy grail material at the moment but I've grabbed this over all my other eye creams this month which says something.

5. J-Lo Miami Glow perfume - (here) £18.50 - The beach in a bottle. This is the cheapest perfume I own and I've put it before all of my most expensive scents this month. It lasts all day so my bottle will last me a good while and wearing it just makes me happy. I wore it to a recent exam and just smelling it perked me up. You really can't go wrong with this one. If you love coconuts and sweet scents I'd give it a sniff next time you're out shopping.

6. Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray (here) £19.50 - For those of you who have read my blog before you'll know that I have oily combination skin. During the summer months, my skin type combined with the heat generally means that my make-up melts off during the day. I purchased this a month back and I now wouldn't be without it. It keeps my make-up in place all day without fail. It's almost miraculous to me. It's an essential now and I'm almost positive that will remain true during the summer months and particularly when I go away.

7. Garnier Pure Active Fruit Energy Daily Energising Scrub -  (here) £4.99 - I bought this on a whim recently as it was on offer 2 for £5. Hard to resist right. This is by far the best 'I bought it on a whim' item ever. I'd been trying to keep my skincare on the more natural side of things, but the cleansers I had just weren't working for my oily/combo skin. While this may contain the dreaded SLS amongst other things it works a treat at clearing out my pores and keeping the shine at bay. Effects aside, it also doesn't hurt that it smells absolutely delicious. It really is an invigorating scent. I absolutely love this product and I'm so glad I gave into the deal and got them. I would absolutely recommend it to people with a similar skin type as it has the potential to work wonders. Love, love, love it!

And that's it for this month! These were my favourites, what are yours?
