January Favourites 2014.
Another month, another set of favourites. Here's a roundup of what's been rocking my world this week.
Vera Wang's Princess is a scent I picked up in the sales on a whim and I'm so glad I did. It was love at first spray and I've wore it everyday since. It's deliciously sweet and girly and lasts so well on me. I didn't even mention the cute packaging.. just look at it.
I received this just before Christmas and I sang its praises in my Christmas Haul. Well, the praise just keeps on coming. It's wonderful. I had quite a troublesome breakout which made me fear for the worst but thankfully it has subsided and the love affair has resumed. My skin has never looked clearer or felt softer. I would recommend this to women the world over.
The Revlon Lacquer Balms were a new release this month and I'm unashamed to say I bought a fair few to whet my appetite. Demure is by far my pick of the bunch. It's the perfect neutral shade and is a dream to apply. If I had one small gripe it would be the glittery after effect but re-application swiftly rectifies this. I love the shiny packaging too... pink and shiny - me likes.
The Rimmel Scandaleyes is a shock favourite for me. I received it as a GWP and kept it stashed away for an emergency. My stash recently ran dry and this bad boy saved me from sad eyelashes. For me it's the perfect combination of voluminious and natural lashes. It doesn't clump; stays all day and is a dream to remove. I would absolutely recommend and repurchase this gem.
These next two are my favourite favourites. I ordered the whole Honeymania line before Christmas but I only got round to using them this month. I love the scent full stop but these two are my standout products. The shower gel lathers beautifully and doesn't dry my skin out while the body butter is so indulgently creamy. When used in combination I smell glorious if I do say so myself. I'm hooked I'll admit. I used to be one for fruitier scents but the Body Shop have totally changed my mind. Bravo.
Last but not least is the Dirty Works Brightening Mask. I've blogged about this before and I still love it. The recent cold spell has really taken its toll on my complexion. Any hint of a glow I ever had has vanished and this is the only thing that brings it back. For under a fiver this really is a steal for what it does. I can't recommend it enough.
Those are my current loves, what are yours?
