Bomb Cosmetics Haul

by - 22:01:00

I'm a huge fan of Lush, but I'm not that big a fan of their prices. Bomb Cosmetics are an affordable alternative and their product range is equally as indulgent. I picked up a few bits and bobs a while back now and I've just ran out so a cheeky restock was in order. In order to do this I hit up a local garden centre. Weird I know, but I find that Bomb Cosmetics are stocked in the oddest places.

That aside, here's what I picked up.

Their candles have been on my hit list for a while now and I finally found the perfect scent. If I had to eat one sweet for the rest of my life it would have to be Rhubarb and Custards. Don't know why but I love them and could eat them all day long. While this candle isn't quite as good as the real deal, the scent is heavenly. It smells strongly of Rhubarb but there's a lovely sweet, fruity note too that really makes this a winner.

For a small candle I must admit the scent throw is fantastic. I've had it burning for less than an hour right now and my room is so full of fragrance that it's wafting out onto my landing and into all the upstairs rooms. Winner. Most of my Yankee Candles haven't been able to manage that feat so well done Bomb Cosmetics.

Price wise I purchased mine for £8.49 but if you're interested they're only £7.99 on their website here.

I've used their soaps before and loved them so I had to pick up some more. My first pick was the Sweet Sundae slice. Just look at it. It's so pretty. Pastel shades and glitter - yes please. Scent wise this is one for people with a sweet tooth.

Here's the official spin on the scent - 'Sugary notes combines with fresh fruity Strawberry and juicy Raspberry are mellowed by elements of edible parma violet and completed by delicate creamy caramel.'

It very well might smell like this, but to me it's a sweet, fruity treat for your mitts. Lovely. You can find it here for a reasonable £2.49

Continuing with the soap love I also picked up the aptly named Love Cloud. It's pink and smells very much like cherries. Love. According to the blurb I'm halfway right, with this candle carrying notes of cherries and fresh blossoms.  Again, this is £2.49 and you can find it here.

Another lovely soap. I could go on about these for days but they're honestly fantastic. They're so affordable and the range is so big that there really is something for everyone. If you're thinking of getting something from this brand I would 100% pick up a soap, you won't regret it.

Last but not least is a totally necessary, totally divine purchase. A Rhubarb and Custard Bath Mallow. Where do I even begin? How cute?!? Gasps aside it also smells exactly like a bag full of Rhubarb and Custards. If heaven were a bath bomb, it would be this one. Well, for me anyways.

Scent wise it doesn't stop at just Rhubarb and Custard, according to the blurb it's very much like a perfume with a variety of notes.... 'A fruity explosion of Red Berries and ripe Rhubard leads to a heart of Peaches blended with Cream. The close is softened by the sweetness of Caramel and Vanilla.'

However, as nice as it smells I've never used any of their bath products before so check back to see how I got on with this one. I've a feeling it will be similar to the Lush bath melts as it contains both cocoa and shea butters. For those of you who are interested you can find it here for £2.24.

As you can see, this was a particularly restrained shopping trip. One thing I will definitely say is that I will be back for more definitely. Every girl needs soap after all and it may as well be colourful, vegan and beautifully scented.

Have you guys been doing any shopping this dreary weekend? I'd love to know what goodies made their way home with you so feel free to leave links and comments below.
