Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm.

Youtube made me do it. Not really but there's a lot of talk about this product at the moment. So what did I think about it?

Well being honest I'm not overly thrilled. Every woman and their cat is going on and on about how amazing this is, but I just don't see it (the cloth is nice, but it ends there).

The smell is definitely not to my taste and it does a below average job of removing my make-up. Queue the sad/ angry I wasted my money face.

Removing eye make-up with this? Forget it! It melted so poorly that the balm tugged on my lashes and the skin around my eye and couldn't even remove non waterproof mascara. Fail.

The only pleasantness is how soft my skin felt afterwards. I'm sure there are other cheaper products which could achieve this though. Writing this now I get a little bit angry and I feel abit cheated that it's not as great as everyone proclaims.

Suffice to say I will be finishing it, but I most definitely won't be repurchasing it. I regret not going with my gut and getting the Clinique balm but hey ho! I've learnt the hard way and I won't be getting suckered in anymore.

Oh and while I remember the packaging is c**p. I've never dropped it and yet it has two giant cracks in the lid. I can think of so many better ways to spend the £36 this stuff costs. Ugh...

Time to face the truth - if a product sounds too good to be true, always assume that it is until you're proven otherwise. Also don't get drawn into hype, it's likely a fad and the product will eventually go back to obscurity... or the bin.

So that ladies and gentlemen is my take. I'd love to know what you guys think about this particular product. Also let me know if you've ever bought a product based on hype and been totally disappointed. I'd love to know what else out there has been a let down.

That being said skincare is personal so if you still fancy giving it a go I got mine over at Feel Unique
