June Favourites

It's that time of the month again. I've surprised myself as I've actually gone back to two products that I never thought I would like again. There's also some new additions as it's always good to mix things up every once in a while.

I'll start with the Natural Eyes palette by Too Faced as it's pretty much taken the placed of every eyeshadow palette I own. I've been after this palette for what seems like ages and it finally came back into stock this month so I jumped on it (25% off coupon also helped a little in my decision).

9 beautiful neutral shadows housed in a sturdy metal case with cheat sheets for looks - perfection. This is my first foray into Too Faced as a brand and I have to say I am really impressed. The shadows are buttery and pigmented and a dream to blend. I'll admit I was terrified they'd be a chalky, patchy mess but fear not.

Taking a punt on this has also taught me not to believe everything I read on Makeup Alley. To sum things up, if you're looking for a portable palette of great neutrals, this one is your best friend.

Next up is an oldy but a goody. The Touché Éclat foundation. Amazing, luminous, light coverage can be yours with this beauty. It glides on like a dream and gives me the most flawless complexion. Can't ask for more can you? Yes it's pricey, but it's worth every single penny.

Back to new things, I've finally addressed a hole in my makeup routine - my eyebrows. I've never found a pencil that's worked for me but it's finally happened and it's from the drugstore. Hurrah.

I'm talking about Sleeks Brow Stylist. The perfect dupe for Hourglass' Arch Brow. Waxy product on one end and a great spooly on the other. I'll put my hands up and say its a dream and I'm truly impressed. No more neglecting my brows.

Soap and Glory's Righteous Butter is a cult product for a reason. I stopped using it because I got tired of the scent. After a few months apart, we're now reunited and I'm back loving it. My skin is glossy and healthy and I smell great too. Love, love, love. I know I'll go through phases with this, but it's nice to know I can always rely on it when I decide to go back.

Last but not least is another cult beauty buy. No other than Benefit's They're Real mascara. I've always loved the effect of this mascara. My lashes always looked amazing but it was a pain in the butt to remove. Since I've taken up using a balm cleanser to remove my make-up this struggle is a thing of the past. The Emma Hardie balm melts this away like a dream. Not a single trace is left behind and I feel much better using it now I know that I can definitely get it off. As much as I love my Maybelline Mascaras, this is just next level.
