Too Faced Haul

This post is the result of a 25% off code and a restock of some goodies I've been after for ages. Needless to say it happened without so much as a thought and I'm glad.

These are the first products I've ever owned by Too Faced and I have to say that on the whole I'm impressed.

The Natural Eyes palette is perhaps the most perfect neutral one out there. As much as I love the Urban Decay Naked's I know there is not a single shade I won't use in this one. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I find the shade range in the Naked palettes overwhelming and I don't love them all. I think the shades will also suit most skin tones. I think this is particularly important as I know the Naked 3 is something I myself struggle to pull off so I'm sure it's not for everyone.

My only quibble with this palette is the cost. It currently retails for £32 over on Lookfantastic which I think is really excessive considering the Naked palettes retail for £37. As I said early I snagged mine with a 25% off code which makes it a tad more affordable but still I would debate whether it's worth the RRP. So if you are looking into purchasing this, definitely wait till a code becomes available, lord knows there are plenty of them.

Moving on to the most exciting part of the haul, the Melted Liquid Lipsticks. I saw these every now and again on blogs and I've had them on my wishlist ever since. However, they haven't been readily available in the UK until recently and when they finally hit sites most of the shades I wanted were sold out.

I think luck was on my side this particular day as both shades I wanted to pick up were both in stock for the first time in ages.

The shades I chose were Melted Peony and Melted Coral and they're so so pretty. Up to now I've only tried Melted Peony and I have to say it's pretty wonderful to wear. The sponge tip applicator makes it a dream to apply and the formula itself is super light yet super pigmented. You simply squeeze the smallest amount onto the tip and then spread onto lips. Tah-dah.

If  I had to be super picky I would say that it makes my lips look sort of dry after a while. It doesn't dry out my lips but it looks dry if that makes any sense. Also, when it does start to wear off it looks pretty odd in my opinion so always keep it on hand for touchups. I don't know what it is but I just get this odd pink line around my lips a few hours in.

Minor grips aside, I really love it. I've yet to try Melted Coral as there hasn't really been an occasion to wear it but I'll let you know how it goes when I do.

And there you have it guys, my last haul for the considerable future.

So that's my last treat feel free to let me know what you guys have been treating yourselves to lately.
