July Favourites

The mercury was on the rise this month so out came the dewy summer skin. To get the glow I've been obsessed with my Nars Illuminators. The lightweight liquid formula smoothes on a dream and leaves the most natural highlight ever. Laguna is perhaps my favourite though. The bronze tint combined with a delicious shimmer makes it perfect for adding a hint of colour and a glow all at once. Perfection.

This next one is a rediscovery. Escada's Rockin Rio is the equivalent of summer in a bottle. It's overly fruity in a fruit cocktail on the beach kind of way and I love it for the warmer months. I'm no good at describing so here's the official take on the scent - 'the ultimate fruity cocktail composed of sweet and fresh fruity zests enriched with coconut. With the sound of Brazilian samba top notes dance with tangerine, pineapple and papaya with exotic coconut twist, providing a fresh, tropical opening. A heart is created of cotton candy and peach while a base closes with sandalwood and musk'. I would agree is smells like all those amazing things. The biggest surprise is that this is an EDT formula and yet it lasts for hours. I really struggle with getting fragrances to last one me but this one does not budge. It's amazing. Sadly is you guys want to pick this up it was a limited edition but I'm pretty sure you could pick it up on Fragrance Direct or an equivalent.

This Charles Worthington purchase is perhaps my best of the year. I ran out of my usual Dove Leave in Conditioner so I picked this up and wow is all I can say. It's lightweight gel-creme formula smoothes onto the hair and disappears. It's when your hair is fully dry that you notice the difference. My hair has never felt smoother, silkier or as nourished. Even my other half noticed and he rarely notices things like that. I am seriously impressed and I don't think I'll be going back to the Dove one in a hurry. If your hair needs some help this is what you should turn to.

These are new to me but I should have had them in my life long ago. They're everything you could ever want in a lipstick and so much more. They are intensely pigmented, super glossy and last for hours on the lips without any patchy fading. They're utter perfection. I know everyone bangs on about MAC but I think these will be taking their place on my lipstick lust have list. I have the shades Obsessed, Anarchy and F-Bomb and they're all divine. You can find Urban Decay's Revolution Lipsticks here

Last but not least is Origins Plantscription Serum. Technically this is for ageing skins but I've been loving it for giving my skin back its glow. I apply a pump morning and night and I have to say, my skin is so much better for it. Is it pricey, yes and would I repurchase probably not, but it's great stuff if you're the intended audience. I'm even a fan of the herbal scent.

And those are my loves for this month. Feel free to let me know yours.
