February Empties 2015

I'm a little light on products this month it would seem. But something's better than nothing eh?

Batiste's Tropical Dry Shampoo  (£4.99) is an absolute must have for me. I workout a lot and I don't wash my hair everyday so this keeps me looking presentable on third/fourth hair days. People say it's quite white in appearance but I just let it absorb, massage it it and all residue is gone. It's definitely not the first time you've seen this and it absolutely won't be the last. If you haven't tried it get it, you won't regret it.

No 7 Lash Adapt Mascara. This has since been discontinued sadly and I wouldn't know what else would be similar to it in the range so I apologise for that. It was okay, nothing particularly special and you could definitely get better ones for your money.

Soap and Glory's Smoothie Star Body Scrub (£8) was a pleasant blast from the past for me. It smells like maple syrup mixed with cookie dough and all things yummy and it works a treat at sloughing away dead skin cells. Suffice to say I would recommend this if you were in the market for a scrub. I'm hoping this will be back in my stash soon as I'm genuinely missing it at the moment (well the smell at least).

Simple Kind To Skin Soothing Facial Toner (£3.29) is another staple of mine. It soothes my skin and really refreshes. I relied on it a lot in New York to ease my angry, windburned skin and it did the job fantastically. I still love it and I would absolutely still recommend it.

This last one is a tad controversial as the range is widely slammed by anyone who knows about skin everywhere. It's full of SLS and is generally not kind to my skin but I couldn't just throw it out so I used it up. I am of course talking about Clinique's Liquid Facial Soap Mild £16) from their 3 step line. I felt bad using this on my skin because I knew it was drying my face out but it's too expensive to waste. Now that it's all gone I absolutely will not be repurchasing and I won't be recommending it to you guys either. I know everyone's skin is different but this is supposed to be mild and it strips the skin like nothing I've ever used before.

And that's all for this month which is a bit disappointing. I've got quite a few products on their way out though so hopefully next month will be bigger and better. Plus there might even be some make-up in the mix. Yay.
