Escentual Haul

Don't you just hate it when everything runs out all at once? This past week pretty much all of my skincare went kaput and I've had to repurchase. As enjoyable as shopping is, it costs a pretty penny when you have to buy multiple items. I had an idea of the products I wanted to purchase and a quick search online sent me straight to Escentual. Not only did they have everything I wanted in stock, they also had a third off too - score! Before I go on about what I got, there are great discounts on all French pharmacy brands till the end of March so be sure to check it out here.

Now onto the good stuff, what I bought. First up is the pretty much infamous Serozinc by La Roche Posay. This zinc sulfate solution is the toner of choice for many in the beauty community so I swiftly added two cans to my basket. I'm hoping this lives up to the hype.

The next three items are from Vichy's Aqualia line. As you can probably guess from the name the products sole purpose is hydration. I'd used up my last tube of Hydraluron and while I like it, it's just not doing it for me anymore so I needed something new. The Aqualia serum seemed like the most logical choice to me. It promises intense hydration so going off that it should be perfect. This package only landed on my doorstep this morning so check back for a review of this one.

After opting for the serum it seemed logical to explore the rest of the line and amazingly they had everything else that was on my list. My new day cream is the Aqualia Moisturiser with SPF 25. I have high hopes for this but the packaging irks me greatly. It's great that it has a pump mechanism but the packaging is so opaque there's no way of knowing when you're about to run out. Why do they do this? Now if I like it I will be buying a back-up immediately to avoid a very sad day.

Last but not least is the Aqualia Thermal Eye Roll-on. I'll be honest and say I'm not really sure what to expect from this. I've not used a roll on since the Garnier one launched all those years back. I'll be open and say I didn't get on with that one. I'm just hoping this one actually hydrates and isn't a gel formula. I'll reserve judgement for now but again I'm hoping this will be good.

And that's my little haul. I'm now restocked and ready to get stuck in so check back for reviews.

Kirstie.
