Bronze Goddess Make-Up Look

The time of year is upon us yet again. I am of course talking about holiday time. Whether you're having a staycation or off to a far flung corner of the world it's safe to say we all love a bronzed look when the mercury rises.

Today I thought I would share with you my go to look for a warm summers eve. This is the look you'll rock when the sun goes down and the fun really begins. Without further ado, let's get into the products.

When I'm on holiday I don't like to spend an age in front of the mirror getting ready. I've paid to enjoy a beautiful location, so quick and simple is always key. For glowing skin it all begins with the Laura Mercier Radiance Primer followed by Chanel's Perfection Lumiere Velvet. These two bring the sheen without being shiny if you catch my drift. We want the look to be natural, not disco ball. If I've caught the sun and I'm looking particularly bronzed a few drops of the Laguna illuminator deepens everything up in a nice subtle way. Base done I always turn to my trusty Laguna bronzer. A light dusting applied to the high points of the face looks stunning, but natural. Think Kate Moss in those St Tropez adverts. In terms of blush and highlight I find that when I'm tanned I can crack out MAC's Stereo Rose MSF. This is a blogger favourite there's no denying it and when you've got the right skin tone for it, it looks beautiful. Plus, when you use this it eliminates the need for a highlighter. Yay!

My eye look also carries on the no fuss holiday hallmark. Maybelline's Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze has to be the one product you need in your holiday make-up bag. It's shimmery, bronzey, taupey perfection and it doesn't budge no matter what the temperature. I apply a light layer to my lids and lower lash line and smudge out with my Zoeva Luxe Soft Crease brush. Hello a simple, sultry smoulder. If I feel I need more definition or something's missing I'll run a bit of Nars Laguna in the crease to deepen things up. Shadow sorted and lashes of Benefit's They're Real applied it's onto brows.

I'm sad to say this doesn't really change whether I'm home or away. The Anastasia Brow Wiz with Maybelline's Brow Drama and I'm good to go. Simples. In humidity or particularly hot places you could switch out the Brow Wiz for the Dip Brow Pomade for that extra lasting power. Either way, your brows will look brilliant.

Finally, we're onto the home stretch. A slick of gloss onto the lips (I love Hoola gloss to tie in with the bronzey theme) and a couple of spritzes of Estee Lauder's Bronze Goddess and you're ready for the world.

And there you have it, my simple bronze goddess look. I hope you enjoyed and if you try out the look feel free to leave your links and comments down below.
