Summer Wish List

by - 13:45:00

With the recent bout of warm weather it would be fair to say that Summer is finally here, and that can only mean one thing... Lusting after new beauty goodness. So with that in mind and the fact that I've finally booked a vacation I thought I would share with you the products topping my lust list.

Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Teazzurra eau de toilette £42. If Summer had a scent, this would be it. If you want the notes and all that jazz head here, but in lamens terms it smells like a delicious, refreshing fizzy drink. It's citrusy without being tart and sweet without being sicky. In a word, it's divine. And did you see the packaging... Stunning. Am I right?  Hopefully if I've polished off enough bottles by the time I go this beauty will be mine.

The Charlotte Tilbury Beach Sticks have been on my wishlist for a while but I've never had a good enough reason to justify the splurge. With an exciting trip on the horizon that doesn't mix with many products I need some good multi-taskers. These creamy sticks can be used as blush, bronzer, lip colour and highlighter.. Safe to say I think they're a must have when you're forced to go back to basics. The two shades I have my eye on are Ibiza  for a bronzey shade and I can't decide between Es Vedra and Moon Beach for a pop of colour. Who knows, if I'm feeling spendy I may bag all three.

It's all good and well stocking up on cosmetics and the likes but sometimes you have to go back to basics. Aftersun is something we all use after a day in the sun. They help the skin recover and rehydrate and most can even enhance your tan. I've used many different brands over the years but everyone always talks about the Lancaster Tan Maximiser Soothing Moisturiser for Face and Body. It's a little on the pricey side but apparently it smells gorgeous and the results are wonderful too. It's not a necessity but sometimes it's nice to treat yourself.

This next one is a bit of a cult classic but I've never felt the urge until now. Bumble and Bumble's Surf Spray has to be the go to product for beach hair days and though there are alternatives (many of which I've tried) the results never seem to compare. For the trip of a lifetime sometimes you just have to go with the best of the best. After all pictures can live forever and no one likes looking back at bad hair.

Last but not least is a great facial SPF. We've all heard the horror stories about the white cast that some leave and the horrendous breakouts but it's still an essential. The Clarins Sun line in general gets really positive reviews and I'm already a fan of their products so it seems like a no brainer to try one of theirs. I've singled out the Clarins Sun Wrinkle Control UVB 30 as the one to grab for me. It ticks all the boxes and I'm hoping it's as good as people say it is when I finally get round to grabbing one.

And there you have my quite restrained wish list. We've all been there with a list as long as your arm but sometimes it's about what you need and not what you want. But a girl can dream eh?

Now you've seen mine feel free to share yours with me down below. After all who doesn't need inspiration every now and again. I might have missed something off.
