November Favourites

We're all aware of this amazing super spendy sponge that exists. My first favourite is a total steal and a brilliant dupe. As I've written this post I've also learnt that it has sadly been discontinued... *booo*. Just in case it does magically reappear on the Beauty Bay site, it's basically their version of a beauty blender. It cost me around £2 and I've become obsessed.

My next favourite ties in with the miracle sponge. For some it's already a cult favourite and others tend to avoid. I am of course talking about the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation (£30). A little bit of this bopped around on the Beauty Bay sponge and you're pretty much guaranteed a flawless complexion. I've had this bottle in my stash for a while and we've never really got along. With a buffer brush this is too heavy for my liking but now I've found the right way to use it, it's a dream come true. It does everything it says it will and so much more.

The shower gel may seem a bit of a random addition but it's Marshmallow scented guys, how could I leave it out. For around £1 this will transform your dreary showers into the sweetest experience. Imperial Leather have a few other scents in their 'Sweets' line and I love them all. It's like reliving my childhood with a shower daisy. Yes please.

Kiko have recently opened up their first store near me so I have of course been shopping. Of the two things I have, it's this Smart lipliner that's won me over. It cost me a meagre £2.50 and is just the shade I need for all my berry toned/dark lipsticks. I'd been mulling over purchasing MAC Nightmoth for a while and I was so glad I waited when I found this. It's creamy, pigmented and a bargain. So basically you need all the shades STAT.

Before you say it, I know I'm late on the bandwagon with this one. I am of course referring to the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara  (£7.99). This stuff is just phenomenal. It lengthens, separates and stays put like nothing I've ever tried before. I purchased this based off the million other good reviews floating around but it really is a stellar product. I've already passed on the recommendation to my co-workers and they're loving it too. This will take some topping so I'm already going to declare it HG material. Welcome to the ranks!

Last but not least is a product I wanted to test thoroughly before I gave my opinion. It's a firm favourite of Caroline Hirons and her army of followers, and Pixi can add one more to that list. As much as I wanted to dislike it, Glow Tonic is brilliant. The scent is very Marmite (love it or hate it - I love it) but there's no denying that this product delivers. After over 6 weeks use my skin is more even in tone, clearer and just generally needs little help from make-up. This is such a turn around for me, as my skin has been really struggling as of late. We've all been there I'm sure, but this has really helped.
