Super Facialist Rose Hydrate Creamy Calming Cleanser

I recently tried to be more conservative with my beauty spending. I previously wouldn't have thought twice about dropping £30 ish on a cleanser, but my priorities have changed and so my spending needed to also. Ever heard of that saying, 'you get what you pay for'; sometimes it's true.

I learnt the hard way with this one, and in my quest for a bargain I was probably too forgiving with this one. The Super Facialist Rose cleanser comes in at £7.99 and on the face of it looks like a great deal. It contains good ingredients and has all the right promises on the tube.

There's just one problem; It's highly perfumed. I know it says Rose on the packaging but I feel like this has the equivalent of a whole Rose bush in added fragrance. If it were a light, background scent it would have been lovely, but it's so in your face.

I've never had a problem with scented products before, but for some reason or other my skin hated this product. I initially thought nothing of my skin being warm after cleansing, but soon the warming turned to a stinging/burning sensation. At this point I had to pass this on to a family member for fear of losing my face (I'd been using it for around two months at this point).

Moral of the story, if you're sensitive to scent give this one a pass. If you aren't, it's quite a nice cleanser. It's creamy, softening and doesn't dry the skin out either.

Anyways, that's it for today, I just wanted to give you guys a little update. In the meantime, I'm still on the hunt for my mythical beast budget cleanser so if you know one let me know.
