Empties

I'm at a bit of a crossroads with empties posts right now. I love seeing what I've used up, but I hate having to keep hold of my junk instead of recycling it immediately. Anywho, I've got a little group together, so it's time to share.

I'm going to get the obvious repurchases out of the way. The Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask; La Roche Posay Anthelios Comfort Cream SPF50+ and Essie's Gel Setter topcoat are die hard favourites. I've got all three of them back in my stash, and I'm sure it will stay like that for a while.

The Nivea eye make-up remover I have repurchased but I'm now regretting it. It could be the mascara I'm using, but it just doesn't work for me right now. My bottle's formula doesn't seem to combine too well either, even with overly vigorous shaking. I think I'll be moving on once my current bottle is done.

Moving on, the rest of the bits are products I probably won't purchase again. I've found a better mascara and brow gel so the Maybelline ones are out. They're not bad products, there are just better options out there.

As for the skincare side of things, neither the Clarins Lotus Oil or the Clinique All About Eyes did anything for me. I'm not too mad about the oil because it's the first and only bottle I'll purchase. As for the eye cream, I've been through three pots now and I've still not learnt my lesson. It's a whopping £26.50 and it does absolute diddly squat. Sure it hydrates, but I'm sure plenty of cheaper eye creams can do that.

Last but not least I've first got a travel sized Victoria's Secret Heavenly EDP. I'm not going to dwell on this one for too long because I hated it. It smells powdery and sort of lemony, like washing powder does. It's a great scent for laundry, just not for perfume. Pass!

And finally the Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser. This actually wasn't all bad, I thought I'd end this on a sort of better note. It cleanses well; is pretty much fragrance free and should work on all skin types. If you're in the market, definitely give it a look, but I'm moving on. My new cleanser is on it's way and I can't way to tell you guys all about it.

As always, a little disclaimer. These are thing's I've liked or disliked personally, see how you get on if you're interested in any of them. You never know, they might be just what you've been looking for.
