May Favourites
So it's that time of the month again, and I've another batch of beauty favourites for you!
To kick things off I've got the L'Oreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation (01 Porcelain). What I initially thought was a total gimmick, has turned into my favourite foundation ever. It's light, luminous and covers the right amount for me. I'm absolutely obsessed. Even the sponge applicator has won me over. Hygiene wise I'm not sure about it, but in terms of the finish it does the job well. I'm still narked about how little product you get, but I absolutely will be repurchasing when the time comes.
This next product is one I'd all but given up on not long ago. Prior to my holiday, Pixi's Glow Tonic didn't give me any results at all. I returned from Thailand with a hint of hyper pigmentation, and slowly but surely the tonic is lightening them wonderfully. It's definitely taking a while, but I'm finally seeing this product do something and it's great. Would I repurchase it, probably not, but for now it's working and I need those results.
By now you should all know I'm not a gloss girl, but there is finally an exception. Tempting me over is Stila's Lip Glaze in the shade Strawberry Cream. It's a pale pink that mutes my lips out without making me look dead. That's a difficult feat I'm telling you. The formula is pretty awesome too. It's sort of sticky which can be annoying, but it really hangs around on the lips. I'll apply at 8am and my lips will still be glossy come 11am. All about that low maintenance make-up!
Sticking with lips, I've recently got back into lip scrubs. With wearing lipsticks most days, my lips have needed that extra TLC and Lush has been helping me out in that department. Their Bubblegum lip scrub has been keeping my lips flake free and plump, and I'm going to try and keep up my little lip routine for good now.
Last but not least, I've got the Ole Henriksen Empower Foaming Milk Cleanser. I've been using this every morning for two-ish weeks, and I love it. The milk produces a delicate foam that cleanses my skin beautifully. After use my skin is never tight and I've not experienced it drying my skin out either. Two weeks on, my skin is clearer, brighter and this has become a must have for me. I'm now looking to try more from the range, so if you've any recommendations please let me know.
As a little bonus I thought I'd throw in a music favourite because why not? Right now it has to be Coldplay's Up and Up. Obsessed isn't the word. The guitar at 2:48 is everything! Get it on loud and enjoy!
