Non-Touring

So many trends, so little time. It feels like we've been bombarded with them this past year or so. We've had contouring, strobing and now we're finally on non-touring. The only difference is that I'm actually all about this new trend.

It's basically the ultimate no make-up, make-up look. Healthy, glowing skin is what we're aiming for with this trend and it couldn't be easier to achieve. All you need are a tinted moisturiser (or light coverage foundation); some kind of liquid illuminator/primer and a highlighter of your choice.

To create the illusion of even, glowing skin I like to combine my EE cream with a teeny bit of Nars Copacabana illuminator. This mix doesn't cover everything but my skin is so radiant that any minor issues don't really matter. It looks natural, pretty and importantly undetectable. That last point, I think is so important in terms of this trend. You know you've got product on, but no one else should be able to tell. For once it won't be Maybelline, you were born with it (well as far as they know anyways).

Once that base is completely blended, I buff Stila's Convertible Colour in Kitten onto the high points of my face. This cream highlight is stunning, but I'm sad to say that there isn't actually a full size. What ever will I do when I run out of this?!? Recommendations please!

Anyways, after you've put your highlighter wherever you would like it, you're done. You've successfully non-toured you face and are basically now Gigi Hadid. Well not quite, but a girl can dream eh? Do your mascara, add a gloss and you're ready to go, told you it was easy.

I'm firmly on board with this look, but I know there are so many who aren't. Huda Kattan (Huda Beauty) has done a video on this and has made is clear she's still all about the contour. How do you guys feel about the trend? Are we loving it, or hating it? Let me know!
