Weekend Things #5

Thank god for weekends, am I right? I don't know about you, but I was really ready for a few days of this week. It's been one of those weird weeks where nothing's really going on and time's going too slow. Anyways, it's the weekend so here's what I've got for you.

Music wise, I've gone back to Coldplay's 'A Head Full of Dreams'. Most people I know find this a very marmite offering from the band, but I love it. It's got some great tracks and it fits perfectly with the sunny weather we're enjoying right now.

This next thing might surprise some, but I've actually been reading a book. I used to quite enjoy reading books, but I struggle to find ones I think I'd like. I mean the last book I read was 'Gone Girl', so it's definitely been a while. I've had my eye on 'The Girl On The Train' for ages, but I never wanted to add another hardback to my shelf. Fast forward to now, it's available in paperback and I'm already ploughing through it. Definitely worth a read. Now I'm starting to excited about the movie adaptation.

Moving back onto more familiar territory, I give you the ultimate minimal make-up routine. I've had a full face on Monday to Friday, so now it's time to wear as little as possible (even if I do scare people). To even things out, I've been using the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer wherever I need a bit of help. For fixing my brows, I've been brushing them through with the L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper. If you've not tried this product, please do. It's brilliant. Lastly, for colour on the cheeks and lips I've been using MAC's Lustering. I've had this for a while but never really used it, and now I don't know why. It's a pretty, subtle fuscia, pink and it's perfection. Next time you're at a counter, give it a swatch and see what you think!

And that's it for this weekend, I hope yours is a good one and I'll see you next weekend for another round.
