Sephora Haul Part 2
See, I told you there was time! After writing my post yesterday, I ended up in the Sephora by Grand Central and I actually found the products left on my shopping list.
As you can see, I managed to track down the Drunk Elephant Umbra Sheer Physical Defense SPF30. It cost me $38 and you get a whopping 100ml of product. I gave this a go yesterday afternoon and it was a revelation. It's not greasy, works well under make-up and of course protected me from the sun. Safe to say, this is looking like a very promising replacement for my current La Roche Posay SPF.
To round this off, I grabbed the Wander Beauty On The Glow Blush and Illuminator in the shade Soft Pink/Nude Glow ($42). If you travel a lot or like products that can multi-task, this is the one for you. On one end it has a soft pink blush or lip shade, and the other a gorgeous champagne highlight. I used this yesterday, and I was pleasantly surprised by both the application and longevity. I applied it around midday and after 8/9 hours it was still on my face. In the current heat of Manhattan, that is a real achievement. If you fancy picking this one up, you might have a bit of a hard time. It's currently on the Sephora website, but as far as in store goes they have little to no presence. I found the On the Glow sticks on a 'Scouted By Sephora' end in store. If you're by a store that has one of these, they're definitely worth looking at.
And that really is it (well I hope it is for my wallets sake!), today's going to be all about packing and enjoying my last few hours to the fullest. See you back in the UK guys!
