July Favourites

As you can probably tell, this months edition is going to be short and sweet. That being said, all the products I am going to talk about are fantastic.

Starting with my most favourite, I have Dolce and Gabbana's The One EDP. I've had this in my collection for a while, but it's always been a thing I've kept for best. I read a post recently about why you should enjoy things instead of saving them, so here we are. It's a floriental fragrance with just the right hint of sweetness, think Flowerbomb but more sensual. If you like strong, heady scents definitely give this one a whirl, otherwise definitely try before you buy. In the meantime you'll find me surrounded by a cloud of this until it runs out. Yum.

I posted about this next product not too long ago, but I've not been able to put down the L'Oreal Pure Clay Detox Mask. I've used it around twice/three times a week since I bought it and my skin loves it. After use, my skin is softer and my pores are clearer and I couldn't be happier. For £7.99 this budget buy should be on everyone's shelves.

Sticking with the budget theme, I've got Covergirl's Lashblast Volume Waterproof mascara. I've used the UK equivalent before and I loved it, but using this has reignited the fire. For me, it gives the ultimate false lash look. My lashes are lengthened, separated and volumised and all without a single clump. Now that it's back in my life, I'm honestly not sure I'll ever use another mascara again. Thank god for `Max Factor/Covergirl, you guys rock!

To round things off, I've got something that's definitely a splurge for me. I lost my Charlotte Tilbury Rock n Kohl liner in 'Barbarella Brown' and desperately needed a replacement. I didn't want to fork out £19 again, but wanted something of comparable quality. Sadly, Boots and the likes didn't really have anything that quite compared. The liners available either weren't the right colour, weren't pigmented or were too hard to use on the delicate eye area. With that, I headed to my nearest Urban Decay counter. While their 24/7 Liners aren't cheap, they have some of the best reviews so I thought they would be worth checking out. Thankfully I wasn't wrong. Their liners are buttery, pigmented and the shade range is incredible. After swatching all the browns, I eventually settled for the shade 'Corrupt'. It's a deep brown with flecks of red and gold glitter. This is by no means a dupe for the Tilbury one, but it was so much prettier than the basic browns that I just had to have it. It adds definition to my eyes with a little something extra and I just love it. In terms of wear, it does pretty well too. While it doesn't quite last all day, it hangs around for a good 8/9 hours before I need to touch it up. Overall, a good purchase and not too pricey at £15.50 either.

So yeah, that's it for this month. Hopefully my favourites pile will pick up in time for next months post. In the meantime have a great weekend guys!
