#BeautyBesties

By this point, most of you will have seen a 'Ride or Die Make-Up Tag' video on Youtube. They're everywhere and they're so damn long. While it's nice to know ALL the products a person loves, I want to know the ones they think are essential. With that in mind I thought I'd walk you through my #BeautyBesties. These are products that I can rely on no matter what, much like a best friend. They're there through thick and thin and they always step up to the plate. Let's meet the gang shall we?

The first thing that sprang to mind when I got the idea for this post was the Superfacialist Vitamin C Cleansing Oil (£10.99). There will never be a day that I won't wash my face and this one is the best I've tried. It removes make-up; cleans my skin and over time, it has lightened red marks on my face and visibly brightened it too. What more could you ask for really? If anyone from Superfacialist is reading this, please don't ever discontinue it, I would be incredibly sad.

Moving on, this post wouldn't be complete without mentioning Batiste Dry Shampoo (particularly the tropical scent). I've tried all kinds of dry shampoo but the truth is that there is nothing better than Batiste. Whether my hair needs a bit of a refresh or a bit of a lift, a few spritzes and I'm good to go. There's never been a time when it hasn't worked. I could have the greasiest mane known to man but Batiste will fix it and I'll look fabulous again.

Sticking with the sort of toiletries theme, I had to throw in the Dove Invisible Dry Roll-On Deodorant (£2.50). I know it's not a glamorous product but it's the only deodorant that works that doesn't cost the earth. I've tried most other sprays and roll ons but this is the one that's stuck. No matter how stressful the day is or how hard I workout, this deodorant has me covered. If that's not bestie material then I don't know what is.

Okay, boring stuff out of the way and now for some make-up. The first thing I wanted to mention is apparently the worlds favourite too. Nars 'Orgasm' blush (£23) is said to be the best selling blush of all time and the key is that it works on all skin tones. While I can't comment on the latter, I can say that I've seen it on others and I love it just as much on them as I do myself. It's basically shimmery pinky/peach perfection. Applied with a light hand it gives my cheeks the most incredible lit from within flush. On both make-up and no make-up days, I always make sure I have a sweep of this on my cheeks for a healthy glow.

Rounding off the bunch I have Chanel's Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation (£33). It's the only foundation I've ever finished to the last drop and repurchased. For what it is, I recognise that it's overpriced but I've yet to find anything that's quite like it. It's light-coverage, lightweight, glowy perfection. On good skin days, this is all I need. No concealer, just a thin layer of this and I'm good to go. My skin is slowly getting clearer so I'm hoping to crack this back out soon as I've really missed it. If you need slightly more coverage their Perfection Lumiere Velvet is a great alternative so it's definitely worth looking into also.
