Morning Routine

13:03:00

Coffee. Every good day begins with a good cup of coffee and today was no exception. It's not that I can't do anything without one but it definitely helps.

Cleanse. Superfacialist Vitamin C Skin Renew Cleansing Oil & La Roche Posay Serozinc. Nothing new here. I like to use the oil in the morning because the zesty scent wakes me up and gives my skin a healthy glow. As for the Serozinc, it helps keep shine at bay and alleviates some of my redness.

Cake. My make-up has been very minimal lately. I'm trying to fix my skin, so I'm thinking that less make-up will help speed this up. I used the Estee Lauder EE cream as my base; L'Oreal's Brow Artist Plumper to define my brows; Covergirl Lashblast Volume on my lashes and YSL's Rouge Volupte in shade 11 on my lips and a bit on my cheeks.

As you can probably tell, my skin is by no means flawless but I'm not a fan of piling it on during the week. If I'm going somewhere then maybe but otherwise less is definitely more.

The last thing I did this morning isn't something I normally do. My hair was looking a bit blah so I did a few spritzes of Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray. It adds a bit of texture and body and my hair looked marginally better for using it. Not miraculous but definitely much needed this morning.

Also unusual is the fact that there's no food featured. That's because I couldn't decide what to have before I left for work. I've now been to work and I've still not ate. Any suggestions guys? I'm starving.

So that was my morning I guess. I'm going to try and do a few of these so you can get a better look at what my life's actually like. PS. it's not at all glamorous so don't say I didn't warn you.

In the meantime, have a great day!
