Weekend Things #6

This week's been a quiet one on here and I apologise for that. I've been feeling slightly uninspired and I've also been working on the sites appearance. If you're reading this, you'll have seen the changes I've made and I really hope you like them.

To get myself back into the swing of things, I thought I'd put up a post on some things I've been really enjoying lately. It's a bit of a mash up but variety is the spice of life and all that.

Sticking to what I know best, I've got a skincare product for you. I've dabbled with the Hydraluon serum for a few years now but it's the Moisture Jelly that I think has impressed me the most so far. I use it morning/night or both, depending on how I feel and it just plumps and hydrates my skin beautifully. That isn't even the best part though; there's not a hint of shine. It moisturises like a thicker cream but my skin is still comfortably matte. Magic.

This next one is something I'm definitely late on the bandwagon for. I tried to get into 'Girls' when it first hit our screens but I just couldn't. Fast forward to now and I completely get it and I'm completely obsessed. It's been 3 days and I'm almost done with the entire series. If you liked 'Sex and The City' and want a more relatable alternative, you're looking at it. It's funny; real, clever and it might even have you looking at a move to the Big Apple. Just me?

I know this might shock some of you who read regularly but I've actually got a fashion favourite I guess. Like most people I've been pretty loyal to my trusty white Converse. There was a point where I'd happily have them as the only pair of shoes I own. I'm not saying that it's changed 100% but they've definitely got competition from a pair of Vans I forgot I owned. FYI I don't have that many shoes, I just have a few pairs I like that much that I don't often look at my others. Anyways, they're the Vans Authentic in the shade Navy and I love them. They're incredibly comfortable and look amazing with a pair of great jeans and a tee (so basically all my outfits).

To round things off I wanted to throw in honourable mentions to both Guacamole and Sriracha sauce. Both were new to me until recently and I've not really ate a meal without either of them ever since. I'm planning on putting some recipes up soon, so keep your eyes peeled for those.

And that pretty much wraps this post up and it's now time to get planning what's for dinner. Ideas are very much appreciated but otherwise have a great weekend guys.
