What's In My Make-Up Bag

by - 14:27:00

While some people can fit all of their products into one neat bag, my beauty products reside in 12 Muji acrylic drawers. Going off that, you can imagine just how much make-up I own. If I'm being honest, I sometimes think it's more than I could ever use in my lifetime.

While I love my Muji drawers, I sadly can't take them everywhere with me and this is how today's post came about. I recently went to stay with my Boyfriend and I could only take one make-up bag. As I never know what I want to wear, I had to make sure I had all bases covered and here's what I came up with.

First of all can we take a moment to appreciate my Anya Hindmarch make-up bag. It was a bit of a splurge at the time but I absolutely love it and I would recommend it to anyone. It can  hold a bunch of make-up, plus it has a handy compartment for your brushes too.

That was the bag but what's inside?
All this loveliness.

There's not much I don't like in this bag if I'm honest. In fact there's only two things that I packed that were 'just in case' additions. In reality there was probably a slim chance I'd use them but because you never know, they came with me. Those are the Collection Fast Stroke Liquid Liner and the Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Corrupt. They're both products I'm trying to figure out, so hopefully the more I use them, the more I'll like them. The rest of them however, are products I love and use week in, week out. Whether I'm going to work, or to dinner, they do what I need them to do. Can't ask for more than that really can you?

To spare you the guessing game, here's a full breakdown of every product you can see.

And that's what's currently in my make-up bag. There are definitely products I wish I'd brought but on the other hand I've not found myself stuck either. So while I love all my make-up at home, do I really need it all? I think the answer is no.

Anyone else came to the same realisation? I think it might be time to get rid of the drawers and stick to the bag. Make-up declutter anyone?
