September Favourites

September was a good month for beauty in my books. I rediscovered a whole bunch of products and it's resulted in this months favourites being a bit of a throwback post. Pretty much all of the products are things I used back in the day, that I've fallen back in love with. I moved on from them to see if the grass was greener and in hindsight it definitely wasn't. Let the retro product love-fest begin!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (01 Fair)

Where do I start with this one? It was pretty much the first concealer I ever purchased and I'm now unsure why I ever stopped buying it. It covers whatever you want to hide; blends beautifully and truly stays put. For £4.19 I really don't think there's a better concealer out there. Bold words I know but I've just been really impressed with this one lately. From now on, I'm going to try and always have a tube in my stash.

Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Body Lotion

If in doubt, Vaseline. This will be my motto from here on out. It's no secret that I love a good body lotion, hell I've tried pretty much everyone you can buy in Boots. After finishing up the Garnier one I had on the go, I repurchased this one and I'm hooked again. A few years back, I used to buy this in bulk when it was on offer. Having it back in my bathroom now, I'm not sure why I ever stopped. My skin glows when I use this lotion and with Winter on the way, my skin needs all the glow it can get.

No 7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Balm

Another rediscovery thanks to those £5 No7 vouchers that are floating around at the moment. I believe I first started using this in 2014 and was fairly consistent with it for a good while. As I got more into skincare I was tempted by the likes of Oskia and Emma Hardie and this fell by the wayside sadly. Fast forward to now, it's back in my skincare routine and it's just as good as I remember it being. My make-up is removed and my skin is soft and clean; what more could you ask for? For £9.50 I think it's an absolute steal, so if you like a balm cleanser get yourself to a Boots ASAP.

Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette

Of all the things I own from Too Faced, this is perhaps the only thing I would repurchase and recommend. With 9 cleverly organised shades, this Too Faced palette makes creating a look so simple. In the morning I want something easy and for me, this palette delivers. My favourite 'work' look is 'Push Up' all over the lid, with 'Nudie' blended into the crease. It's bronzey/brown shimmery eye perfection. The only thumbs down is for the packaging. Mine is so well loved that some of the shadows are busted and the palette actually closes wonky. Can't win them all I suppose.

Nike Run Club App

The Last thing I wanted to add to this post is completely unrelated but I couldn't not include it. I've been a longtime fan of the Nike+ App but the most recent update has put it into a league of its own. The plans are more personal and rounded and I love how it now links with the Nike Training Club App too. If you're looking to improve your fitness levels, you need these Apps. They're completely free and I'm telling you, they work. I'm two weeks into my program and I feel amazing; who doesn't want to feel like that?

And that's it for this month. Prepare for next month as I've a feeling it's going to be a barrage of all things Autumn/Winter. Think bold lips and strong scents. Till then, have a great day and feel free to share your favourites down below.
